Wise Blood (also known as Christopher Laufman), from Pittsburgh and Texas, is a sampling artist who compiles his music from multiple outside sources.  Sampling in this case is more like collecting sounds from environments rather than directly from existing songs.  Wise Blood's falsetto vocals surface from a muddled melody filtered through a looped, almost cacophonous beat.
