Frenchies Lio and Marie Limiñana started their band in late 2009, and debuted their self-titled album in 2010. Their sound is, as much as I hate to use the word, "retro". As if they dug through old vinyls by singers from the south of France, smoked fancy cigarettes, and then composed in between bottles of wine. "Je suis une go go girl" is a fuzzy piece of garage rock that is soothing filler for those suffering from (or maybe basking in) lethargy.
