There have been few instances where an original song from a kids' movie soundtrack overtook the radio in the last decade. The nineties were a more hospitable environment for this activity. I missed out on this song's vehicle, which of course was the The Rugrats Movie. As a kid, I loved the cartoon so I'm surprised that I never got around to watching the film. Mase and Blackstreet adapted a sweeter persona for this soft R&B collaboration written by Teddy Riley. Mýa's heavenly soprano voice was already endearing enough to make the song easier for younger listeners.
