Mexican Institute of Sound is a music project created by Mexican DJ and producer Camilo Lara. He's also the president of EMI Mexico. The collective mission of his project is to combine traditional Mexican music elements with those of contemporary music. Combining New York hip-hop with a Mexican sound, "White Stripes" is one of the few acceptable cases where I can mutter, "That's hot". Mexican pop singer Paty Cantú provides vocals.
