I never would have given this band a chance back in high school. Today, I keep looking for music that can use unconventional instruments without deviating too far from quality repeat listens. The Minneapolis based band Dark Dark Dark debuted in 2008 to great reviews. Combining elements from both America and Europe, Dark Dark Dark's brand of music is provoking, sorrowful and dramatic. The gypsy laden "Trouble No More" incorporates an accordion to great effect.
